Toronto emergencies cluster around two things: wind and ice. When you call, we ask what you're seeing and where. If water is actively coming in, we come out, get on the roof, and do whatever stops it that day — tarping, temporary sealing, clearing a drain, re-securing lifted shingles. Once the house is dry we come back for a proper look and give you a written quote for the permanent repair. The temporary work is done to hold until then, not as the fix.
Call right away if you see water dripping or a stain that's spreading, if shingles are on the lawn after a storm, if you can see daylight through the roof, or if a flat roof has standing water that isn't draining.
